Helps students prepare for General Education Development (GED) exam and the transition to employment, vocational training, or college. Through computer based learning, students take lessons in the five core subject areas: Science, Social Studies, Reading, Math, and Writing. An Adult Basic Education (ABE) class helps students develop basic skills in writing, critical reading and basic mathematics. Students are assigned to an ASE or ABE class as determined by TABE placement testing. Student progress is required to remain in the program. Students who have shown sufficient progress are given the Official Practice Test to assess their final readiness to register for the GED exam. Financial Aid for academy tuition is available for qualifying students through our partnership with Workforce Solutions. Seats are limited. ESUVCLC DOES NOT GIVE THE EXAM.
